I believe that animals have souls too. They also love, feel emotions and suffer pain. I demonstrate my caring for them by not killing or eating them.
Being vegan is good for:
- My physical and spiritual health,
- The health of the animals
- The health of the planet
Biography:
I was raised in an ordinary working class family near Birmingham U.K. My parents were in the nursing profession.
I felt I had a good childhood but in my late teens I became very unhappy and suffered long bouts of depression. I did not understand the cause of my inner pain, but I knew it was very bad and robbed me of any positive sense of meaning or purpose in life. Luckily a friend introduced me to Eastern Philosophy where I read about reincarnation, karma, soul-learning and growth through life experience. I chose to accept the concepts and my quest for healing and enlightenment began. Rather than run away from my pain I chose to face it head on and pursue a path of self healing. This choice has been the keynote of my whole life ever since.
My own path to healing has not been easy or pain free. This is because when I made the commitment to find healing for my own pain it had to first be uncovered in order to deal with it. Life should not be all about suffering and I too experience happiness and joy.
What started out as my own need to find healing has become my passion and my work to assist others to find the freedom and healing they need.
I was a Spiritual Healer before I trained to be a counsellor. Counselling training has broadened my skills and provided me with a range of compimentary skills.
