Thought Forms V’s Spirits

I have been asked about the difference between negative spirits as different from negative thought forms. My conclusions are a result of reading and personal experience.  The following two books provide the published information:-

Psychic Self Defence by Dion Fortune 1998 Thorsons press.   -  Chapter 4 :- Projection of the Etheric Body.  Here she describes how she accidentally made a negative thought form and how she managed to deal with it.

Man Visible and Invisible by C.W. Leadbeater 1974  Adyar press.  Chapter XVIII  :- Sudden Emotions.  Here Leadbeater writes about the creation of positive thought forms.

To follow on from the published works, my personal experience is that thought forms are filled with the energy and intent of their originator.  Continue Reading »

Finding answers

I don’t remember who the wise person was that said, “The more we know the more we realise how much we don’t know,” but in my experience that is a great truth.

Like many people I have spent much of my life seeking answers.  I sometimes think I am like a child always asking why and never being fully satisfied with the answer.  It seems that every answer generates further questions leading me on in my search for understanding, growth and meaning in life.  With the universe being infinite I am sure that I shall never know absolutely everything, which is a good thing as an existence without further challenges might actually become boring.  Nope, infinite universe and infinite opportunities sounds pretty good to me.

Of course the essential part of finding answers is asking questions.  If we were merely given all answers without being able to formulate the questions, would the answers have any real meaning to us?  I think not.  In fact I believe that we only receive particular answers when we are able to realise and pose the question we wish to ask.

Maybe the universe is a bit like a computer in that you only get the answer to the question you have entered in the search box?  Could it be that the questions we create from within ourselves are actually saying, “This is where I am at and this is my need at this time?”   So we receive answers relevant to our needs and where we are at on our path.

What a kind and caring universe it is that we live in.  Or to put it another way “God is good.” We are provided the opportunity to gain understanding, soul growth and enlightenment at the pace appropriate to each of us.

I have come to appreciate things being given at the right pace seeing as my brain space is not yet able to hold all the answers to everything – I mean where would I put it all - time for a tidy up I think.  :)

Motivated self interest - saving the planet.

I have been thinking about Karma and the way we experience the results of our actions at some time in our future.  I personally believe in reincarnation, big surprise, and linking that to the environment.

We hear a great deal about saving the planet for future generations.  Save the planet for the sake of our children and grandchildren.  I totally agree with the sentiments.   But if we accept the fact (concept if you wish) of reincarnation then I think it would be wise to be aware that we are also caring for and saving the planet for ourselves in our future incarnations too.

Just imagine. We incarnate in one hundred years time, many species are extinct, the climate has changed the environment is wrecked or maybe there has been nuclear war and areas of the planet are wasteland.  Who do we blame?  Our ancestors of course, the ones that were so selfish and careless as to let it all happen.   Oh yes, that would be us wouldn’t it?  Ouch!

So the question I am asking myself is this,
“Assuming there are future generations of children and grandchildren to continue the human race, what kind of world do I want to incarnate into in my future life? “

I am currently feeling some powerful motivated self interest to do the best I can here and now to ensure that there is a beautiful world for mine and everyone else’s future.  How about you?

Hooray!

A big thanks to Dominic for his work on reformatting my blog.  Saved my brain cells from being mangled trying to figure it all out.  Now where is that intelligent content I was working on?
